Nora at 11 months

So this picture basically sums up life with an 11 month old. I am pretty sure its easier to thread a needle under water than it is to take her pictures. (not sure if that's a thing, but it is now.)

Nora is more like a toddler now than a baby. She is into everything and can trash a room in less than 30 seconds. At 10 months she crawled and I think around her 1st birthday she will be walking. 

She is doing lots of squats and getting good at balancing.

Her favorite toys are things that aren't toys like phones, remotes, and keys. but since she can play with those she enjoys her baby doll and all her stuffed animals. Books are probably her favorite. She can sit and "read" for 30 min!! Her favorites: Pat the Bunny, Where's Spot, and any touch an feel book. 

She is doing great with big girl food and eats most of what we eat! 

She had spaghetti for the first time the other night, but I believe pasta alfredo is her favorite.

She slurps kiwi off her tray (yes, very lady like) and can eat mandarine oranges faster than you can blink. Yogurt is also a favorite still.

Naps are now twice a day and usually 1 1/2 to 2 hours. 

Bedtime is at 7:30 and we still do the same routine as we have done for a long time now. 

She knows it's bed time and goes to sleep on her own really well.

Funny things she does:

Loves to dance. If you turn on pretty much any music with an bouncy beat she will start dancing and waving her arms. 

Loves to play peek-a-boo around corners. She will crawl in a room peak around the door and wait for you to see her. 

New things she knows.

She can point to her hair.

She can point to your eyes or the eyes on a stuffed animal or baby.

She says mama

She can give you a high five and shake hands.

I can't believe that in just a few short days we will be celebrating the big ONE! 

Nora, you have brought our family so much joy and I couldn't imagine life with out you.
