A Forced Time of Rest....

If you have been reading for a while you may know that I deal with some health problems
Sometimes if I over work my body, don't allow for enough rest, and stress it too much; I become very sick with extreme exhaustion, leg, arm, and joint pain, and other problems. 

Well, It happened again. 
I stressed by body too much which out allowing it to get the needed rest along the way. 
So I have found myself here, needing to take some time off work to regain strength to cary on with daily activities. 
I got to the point where simply walking was almost impossible and showering was an exhausting task.

These times are very difficult mentally. I find myself asking:
 "why?"
 "Why do I struggle?"
 "When will I have concrete answers?"
 "Is this related to my previous surgeries or is it something different, something more?"

The exhaustion eventually fades and I regain strength to carry on, but in the back of my mind I know that it will come around again inevitably. And I will deal with the same questions yet again. I question if life will always be like this, and how this will influence our ability to have a family.

I know that I am not the only one who deals with pain, suffering, challenges and more. 
That is why I know that talking about it here, on my blog, where I share my heart is important.

You are not alone if you are dealing with hurt, depression, physical illness, or anything else.

I have found encouragement in this quote and I believe it can encourage anyone {struggling or not}.

  1. I LOVE that quote :) Sometimes a forced rest can be a blessing in disguise! You can slow down and appreciate the little things in life ;)
