5 things we should do more often

Have dance parties in your living room.
Wan't an immediate smile across your face and a quick burst of aerobic activity? Then turn on your favorite upbeat music and have a dance party. Don't worry, nobody is watching, and if they are you will just make their day too.

Complement each other.
You know how good it makes you feel to receive a complement. Well give one. The more we give the happier we will be. Seeing someone smile is one of the best ways to put a smile on your face.

Cook a fancy dinner.
If you ask me, I'd almost always rather cook a special fancy dinner with  Ryan than go out for a fancy dinner. You feel so accomplished when you eat what you cooked. It's a perfect date-night-in idea. Don't know where to start? Try this recipe by the Pioneer Woman, you wont be disappointed.

Take lots of pictures.
Photos are fun! They document the rare moments and ordinary moments. They shouldn't be reserved for only "special" times. All times are special. Document your life, show the day to day details of life as well as the vacations and holidays. And don't forget to print them or make photo books. OH and have others take pictures of you!! One day you will look back and say why are there no pictures of me?

Write down what we have to be thankful for.
We should keep running lists of what we have to be thankful for. Every day add at least one thing to it. And when we find ourselves being disgruntled, ungrateful, or self-centered read the list out loud. We'd probably realize we have much more to be thankful for than we realize.
