First off, let me just say a huge and warm welcome to many of my new friends! I am beyond elated to have you be a party of my life through this little adventure called blogging.
You are all so encouraging each and everyday, through my ups, downs, joys, and all the rest that I feel like I can always be myself here.
Well, today I feel like I just need to write. Write about life, and the challenges, its blessings, and its hopes.
I thought I would have more free time out of school and when working a job than when I was in college doing school work all the time, and boy oh boy was I dead wrong. I have been working anywhere from a 40 to a 45 hour work week and I can barely find time to do much more than crash in between those hours. I am enjoying my job and am excited for some training opportunities in the next months, but finding time to do things like go to the pharmacy, call about car insurance, and go get a new driver license when I work from 7-4 every day is a challenge.
Ryan did start his Job, and it is a huge blessing from God! The benefits are amazing and our worries, prayers and concerns about how were were going to replace his car have quickly been answered with the knowledge that he gets a company truck in week 10 of training!
I am learning how to live the real world life. I know how to budget money, and how to do most real world tasks, but the ability to overcome exhaustion and manage time outside of work is a challenge. I know it sounds foolish, but it is quite different.
Finally our hopes are to be able to have a baby in the next few years and save for a house! I love to think about all that is in store for us and I can't imagine challenges we will face and the good times that we will have but I am ready for them all!
Thank you so much, each of you for encouraging me.
Thank you for following along and always lifting me up with each comment.
I want you to know that if over the next few weeks my posts are a little less frequent or my replys replies are slower, that I am trying to balance it all still.
xoxo

I can definitely relate to that! We've been married for 3 years, so we're not in the honeymoon phase anymore but we're definitely still newlyweds! Learning how to balance it all is hectic at times, but when you have a great partner at your side, it makes it worth it! Have a great weekend!

Ohmygosh - I know!!
ReplyDeleteI deferred my final year of uni to move countries and support my man as he started medical school. I thought uni was time consuming, but full time work!?
I am tired all the time, nothing is ever done because I'm away from the house for 8-9 hours at a time, and when I get home everywhere is closed and I just crash anyway!
Finding the balance is hard, hopefully you can - I would love some 'balance inspiration' :)
It is hard juggling it all but I have no doubt you will! I have nominated you for the Liebster Award: http://erikatrevathan.blogspot.com/2012/07/the-liebster-award.html
